How many Americans are worth $100 million?

About 10,800. Henley & Partners’ USA Wealth Report 2025, researched with New World Wealth, counted 10,800 Americans with $100 million or more in liquid investable wealth in 2024. People at that level are often called centi-millionaires.

For scale, the same report counted approximately 6,041,000 U.S. millionaires and over 850 billionaires. The U.S. is home to 37% of the world’s millionaires, and their number grew 78% from 2014 to 2024.

Henley counts only liquid investable wealth, so a home doesn’t count toward the $100 million. Counts that include the house find many more millionaires, but none of the sources we use reports a $100 million figure on that basis.
